HGV Tuscany Village: A Relaxing Orlando Escape
Tuscany Village, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Orlando, Florida, is a relaxing resort. Normally, you don't hear "Orlando" and "relaxing" in the same sentence, but in this case, it's true. Yes, it’s close to Walt Disney World®, SeaWorld® Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort, but when did you ever come back from those parks feeling refreshed? They’re a lot of fun, but they can also be exhausting.

Tuscany Village Resort Amenities And Atmosphere
Tuscany Village is just as it sounds: a Tuscan-style resort with large, beautiful pools and hot tubs that stay open year-round. During the cooler months, they're heated, so they’re enjoyable throughout the year.
The resort has a poolside bar and restaurant, Toscana Bar and Grill, as well as Fresco Market & Deli, where you can buy food and wine to bring back to your room for a relaxing evening on your screened-in balcony or patio. Barbecue grills are also available for use throughout the property.
Parking is plentiful, and there's a great walking path around the resort's lake. I especially loved the signs warning guests about alligators. Those aren't exactly the kind of warning signs I see back home!

Location And Distance From Orlando International Airport
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is less than 20 miles from the resort. That's a bonus because it means you can start your vacation sooner with a shorter drive to the Village.
Studios, Suites And Points Value
The accommodations are generous in size, including the studios. They come with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette for preparing meals. Studios do not include a washer and dryer, but 1-bedrooms and larger do.
Choosing Tuscany Village, or any of the other Orlando Hilton Grand Vacations resorts, won't break the points bank. You can enjoy a great vacation without using too many points.

Things To Do Beyond Theme Parks
The vibe at the resort is calm, with no rushing around or feeling pressured to be anywhere. While it's easy to get to the theme parks from here, Tuscany Village is also a wonderful place to simply recharge.
The resort offers basketball and pickleball courts for guests, and the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets are only about a five-minute walk away. Yes, walk! If you're looking for even more shopping, The Mall at Millenia is just a short Uber ride away and offers everything from Lilly Pulitzer to a wide variety of dining options.

Where To Eat Near The Resort
There are plenty of restaurants around Tuscany Village to try. During our stay, we visited Ford’s Garage, a fun restaurant built around a Ford automobile theme.
One thing worth noting: The location we visited automatically added a 20% service charge to the bill, and additional tips were not expected afterward. Not every Ford's Garage location does this, but the Orlando location we visited did.
The food and service were both very good, and the menu featured the kind of fare you'd expect from a quality sports bar.

Getting To Disney, Universal And SeaWorld
If you're not visiting strictly for some downtime, be sure to book your theme park tickets ahead of time.
We used Uber to get to the parks, and the process was very easy thanks to clearly marked pickup and drop-off locations. Universal CityWalk is also worth visiting for its shopping, restaurants and entertainment. You can easily spend a few hours there, and best of all, there's no admission fee. You don't need a theme park ticket or special entry pass to explore the area.
